One of the many parodies of Sherlock
Homes, Sherlock Bones: Undercover Dog is terribly funny and amusing mission
implausible!
The movie starts with a 10-year old
boy Billy on a ferry to Catalina Island. He is going to visit his toy-making
dad, William. At Catalina he meets a talking Police dog named Sherlock. But his
dad and all other people he meets disagree that Sherlock speaks. Sherlock’s
master, Mike, has been kidnapped by drug smugglers. In search of Mike, Billy
meets a tween tour guide named Emma. Billy then explains the situation to her
and devises a plan to get in the place where Mike was locked. One should watch
the movie to find out how the trio triumphs.
The movie is very enjoyable and fast
paced. The setting that was chosen was very beautiful because it had lots of
nature. The acting was very amazing. It captured the spirit of the film. The
storyline’s roadblocks were the funniest of all. The title is definitely not good because ‘Bones’
makes me think of skeletons. The running gag of Wayne, a police officer getting
run over by golf karts is really humorous. I think Billy wearing a female
swimsuit is very embarrassing (and weird (he said he feels like a fool)).
I wholeheartedly recommend this
movie because:
1. It has a humorous twist in every situation.
2. It portrays the character’s mindset openly.
3. It has amazing acting.
4. Last but not the least, Sherlock the dog is sporty!
Good evaluation.. keep it up !!
