Amazing. Great. Ingenious.
A man is showing a gaggle of kids a
slideshow about witches. He then begins to recount his encounter with witches.
It’s Chicago, 1968. A car overturns
and while the parents do not survive the accident, the man (as a boy) lives through
the crash. He is taken by his grandma who lives in Demopolis, and is described
as a person who would give a good spanking or a warm hug based on your actions.
One day, Grandma buys the boy a cute little white rat, who is known as Daisy.
One day, to make a house for Daisy, the boy heads for the supermarket to buy
nails. At the market, Grandma tells the boy to get rust-proof nails. The boy
there has his first encounter with a witch. To escape from the witches, the boy and
his grandma [SB1] flee to the most luxurious hotel in
all of Alabama. Over there, the ‘royal society for the prevention of cruelty to
children is arriving today. In the same banquet as the one where the boy is
teaching Daisy a few tricks, the ‘society’ has their meeting. He realizes that
they are the American witch society. Want to know more? Watch the movie!
SUPER! It was amazing. The main good
thing is Anne Hathaway’s acting as the Grand High Witch of All the World. As
you know, the protagonist’s name isn’t mentioned, but it was said on Twitter or
somewhere that it’s Charlie (you know the what the reference is to 😉). As always, the later one is the better one,
cuz it sticks to the book. For the 1990 one, Roald Dahl was publicly
disappointed with that movie and he wanted it redone. That was fulfilled, but
he was unable to watch it, the same was with Charlie and the Chocolate factory,
the 1971 one disappointed him so much that he refused to give the rights for
Great Glass Elevator to become a movie. Anyways, this is the way to identify a
witch.
·
They’re
bald. They wear wigs which give them horrible rashes.
·
They
always wear gloves as they have abnormal hands.
·
They
have no toes.
·
They
always speak in a deep, raspy voice.
·
They
have long big ‘titan’
[SB2] mouths.
Witches hate children.
I wholeheartedly recommend this
movie because:
1.
The
acting is amazing.
2.
The
story is spot on.
3.
The
characters are super!
4.
The
portrayal of the Grand High Witch is incredible.
5.
Overall,
THIS MOVIE IS SPOT ON! SPOT ON! SPOT ON!
