The 55th Disney animated film; Zootopia
(titled Zootropolis in the United Kingdom and Zoomania in
Germany) is a mind-blowing film based in the world of animals.
The movie starts with an opening narration by Judy
Hopps, a 9 year old rabbit who wants to become a police officer. But she is
tormented by bullies Gideon Grey and Travis, as there never been a bunny police
officer. 15 years later, Judy has passed her exam and is now the first bunny
police officer. In Zootopia, she becomes a meter maid. While she is on parking
duty, Hopps meets a sly fox hustler, Nicholas ‘Nick’ Wilde near the Lemming Brothers
Bank. But Judy is recruited to find Emmitt Otterton, a North American otter
gone missing. Judy then seeks the help of Nick to find Emmitt; since Judy
thinks the fox is the one who has the most evidence. Want to know more? Watch the movie!
I really like the concept of the movie. The
animals are also fun. Bunnyburrow is great. The part where Judy steps in wet cement is funny. But the case is very
serious. I couldn’t believe that a police officer teams up with a con artist.
Duke Weaselton is also diffident. Jerry Jumbeaux Jr. was also weird. The Gazelle app is also funny. The (possible)
comic relief character, cheetah Clawhauser, is also good. They also parodied
some real-life global brands such as CNN (Cable News Network) and Google to
‘ZNN (Zootopia News Network)’ and ‘Zoogle’ which perfectly suited the theme. The
movie has these flaws:
- The animation
style is not really good. This sort of CGI didn’t suit this.
- Gazelle is TOO
popular;
- The movie can
be a bit more detailed.
I wholeheartedly recommend this movie because:
- It is very funny.
- It has a distinctive partnership.
- It is a serious case.
- . It has a hidden antagonist, which is very
interesting.
- . Overall, THE MOVIE IS SUPERB!
