Amazing!
Great! Super! And something tells me you’re going to like this movie.
500 years
ago, the people of Kumandra live harmoniously along side dragons. One day, the
Druun, a monstrous plague erupted and the Druun turned people into stone. The
dragons fought hard. They decided that all dragon magic would be cast into a gem.
The last 5 dragons concentrated their power into the gem, decided that their
youngest, Sisu, would stay alive, and they all died. Fast forward 494 years
later. Kumandra is divided into 5 lands along the main Dragon River: Tail, a
desert wasteland protected by harsh mercenaries, Talon, a floating market
resembling a Thai one, famous for fast deals and many products, but you must
watch out for con artists. Next is Spine, a cold boreal forest defended by
Vikings in metal suits, Heart, the place where Raya comes from, and the land in
possession of the Dragon gem, and Fang, an island with Egyptian-style people
and architecture.
Chief Benja
of Heart invites all the population of all the other lands to come to their
place for lunch. Everything runs fine, till Fang breaks the Dragon Gem and
everyone takes a piece, and the Druun rise again. 6 years later, Raya finds the
Dragon in Tail. Want to know more? Watch the movie!
The Movie
is amazing, like any other Disney film I have watched (except for Treasure
Planet, perhaps). The execution of the film is just, amazing. Some guidelines
to the Kumandran language:
Dep la –
Best friend
Binturi –
It’s an insult
Ba – Father
Toi – OH MY
GOD
Draa –
Dragon
See, It’s
nice. Dep in Vietnamese means beautiful, so uh, hmmm, ok?
I
wholeheartedly recommend this movie because:
1.
The
voice acting is amazing.
2.
The
setting is so beautiful it does not feel like animation.
3.
The
characters are super.
4.
The
animation is đẹp.
5.
Overall, THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING!
