Descendants (2015)

Image
Director: Kenny Ortega Producer: Tracey Jeffery Cast: Dove Cameron (Mal), Cameron Boyce (Carlos De Vil), Booboo Stewart (Jay), Sofia Carson (Evie).   A perfect Disney Channel TV movie (and the second I am writing for, after Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the Second Dimension ), Descendants is a great movie! The movie starts with an opening explanation of The USA (United States of Auradon), The Isle of the Lost, and the villains.   King Beast and Queen Belle’s son, Prince Benjamin decides to takes the children of Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella De Vil, and The Evil Queen, to prep school on Auradon. The King denies but Ben says that they will be fine. Meanwhile, a different story is in full swing on the Isle of the Lost.   The said teens Mal, Jay, Carlos and Evie are hanging out on the street, singing a song about evilness (‘Rotten to The Core’). After the foursome and their parents get the news, Maleficent goes crazy, wanting the Fairy Godmother’s wand. All the parents give

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011)

Image
Director: David Bowers Producers: Nina Jacobson, Bradford Simpson. Cast: Zachary Gordon (Greg), Devon Bostick (Rodrick), Connor and Owen Fielding (Manny), Steve Zahn (Frank), Rachael Harris (Susan), Robert Capron (Rowley), Peyton List (Holly Hills). The ultimate sequel to the hit book and movie  (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), DOAWK: Rodrick Rules is great! The movie starts with an attempt by Susan to help Rodrick and Greg spend time together   with ‘Mom Bucks’, a type of play money that can be traded for real money. They could obtain Mom Bucks by spending time together . So, the next day, Rodrick drops Greg to school just to obtain Mom Bucks. One day, Greg and Rodrick get grounded after a church scuffle and  are banned from their trip to a water park. When they are at home, Rodrick calls on a party and locks Greg in the basement.   After an hour or two of partying, Rodrick gets a call from Susan. Greg joins in and tells that he is locked in the basement. The next day, Greg and Rod

Treasure Planet (2002)

Image
Directors: Ron Clements, John Musker Producers: Ron Clements, John Musker, Roy Conli. Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Jim Hawkins), Brian Murray (Long John Silver) David Hyde Pierce (Doctor Doppler), Emma Thompson (Captain Amelia). A nice treasure movie based on the novel Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson which integrates sci-fi (YAHOO!!!) into it , Treasure Planet (2002) is a great movie for some. On the planet Montressor, young Jim Hawkins is fascinated by stories based on Treasure Planet, 12 long years later, a teenaged Jim aspires to find Treasure Planet and crack the mystery of the treasure. After meeting a friend named Doctor Doppler, he is taken to Crescentia, an artificial satellite orbiting Montressor. At the terrarium, Jim and Doppler set off on the RLS Legacy, a starship. Jim meets the Captain, Amelia and the cook John Silver. Silver poses as a nice guy, but Jim quickly realizes he is a textbook description of a pirate. Want to know more? Watch the movie! T
